CNC Machining Process Flow(Standard Working Procedure)
Step 1: Drawing & DFM Evaluation
Our professional engineers analyze your CAD files, technical parameters, tolerance requirements and material characteristics. We provide free DFM feedback to optimize part structure, reduce production costs and avoid processing risks before manufacturing.
Step 2: CNC Programming & Simulation
Professional programmers write precise machining programs for 3/4/5-axis machines. All processing paths are simulated in advance to eliminate errors such as over-cutting, collision and tool deviation, ensuring processing accuracy and safety.
Step 3: Raw Material Preparation
Select qualified raw materials (aluminum, steel, plastic, etc.) according to part requirements, cut and pre-process the material blanks to match the machining size, reserving reasonable processing allowance for fine machining.
Step 4: Rough Machining
Remove most redundant materials through high-speed rough cutting, quickly shape the basic outline of parts, reserve a small finishing margin, and greatly improve subsequent precision machining efficiency.
Step 5: Finish Machining
Precise cutting with optimized tools and parameters to complete final dimensions, precise holes, threads, curved surfaces and assembly structures. This procedure controls core tolerance within ±0.005mm~±0.01mm to meet high-precision assembly needs.
Step 6: Deburring & Polishing
Remove sharp edges, burrs and tool marks left by machining, perform manual or mechanical polishing to improve part surface smoothness and appearance quality.
Step 7: Surface Treatment
Complete customized surface finishes including anodizing, sandblasting, plating, powder coating, heat treatment and passivation to enhance parts’ corrosion resistance, hardness and aesthetics.
Step 8: Strict Quality Inspection
Inspect part dimensions, tolerance, surface roughness and appearance via calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other precision equipment. Provide official inspection reports for batch orders.
Step 9: Packaging & Delivery
Adopt anti-collision and moisture-proof professional packaging for precision parts to avoid damage during transportation, and support fast and customized delivery solutions.
